Mission Planning Business Case Support
|
|
Our client was responsible for the preparation of a
Business Case to support the change from manual to automated mission
planning in three disparate business areas. Prior to our
involvement, our client had been unable to determine an effective
solution due to the variances in the ways of working in the
different areas. We used Event Response Modelling to determine the
essential mission planning process and derived specific measurement
points to enable comparisons to be made. Read

What Our Clients
Said...
"The Mission Planning Event
Response Modelling work carried out by AnaConn was completed on time
and most effectively. From a technical and professional perspective
we could not have had better support, but we were equally impressed
by the way in which AnaConn were able to tease out seminal
information from a wide range of individuals with differing
professional backgrounds. Moreover, initially, some of those
involved in this work were not convinced that it would produce
tangible, accurate, and scientifically rigorous, results: in the
event the doubters were completely converted to the process. Should
the need arise, we would not hesitate to work with AnaConn
again."

Interconnect
Billing System Procedure Development and Implementation
|
|
Managing a client team for one of a three project
programme of work to implement a new Interconnect billing system we
identified the scope of interconnect billing business process, which
involved staff from over thirty areas in the business. We trained
client staff in the techniques and tools used by the methodology and
mentored them during the development of procedures which were
subsequently implemented successfully. As a result of this work the
effectiveness of the existing business policies were called into
question and revised. We also provided project office support to the
manager for the overall programme. Read

What Our Clients
Said...
"Analysis Connections Ltd
provided valuable support in three main areas. First, model
management to ensure the integrity of the work was maintained
throughout the project in a multi-team environment. Second, advice
and support to the PwC Consulting team on methods and techniques and
third the production of a manual for the client. The assignment and
client staff benefited from the expertise brought by Analysis
Connections Ltd and the rigour which they encouraged through their
approach."

Process
Measurement for Litigation Evidence
|
|
We took an innovative approach to produce rigorous
results using time and motion techniques solution to assess how much
time was spent on specific administrative tasks. It had previously
not been possible to determine an effective solution due to the
complex nature of the work and pressurised environment. We had
multiple teams working at different locations for the duration of
the project and provided daily analysis and reporting of the
results. Read

What Our Clients
Said...
"Analysis Connections were
called in by us to provide a time activity analysis in connection
with a significant piece of High Court litigation. In a very
challenging timescale of less than 8 weeks, Analysis Connections
listened to our requirements, prepared and agreed with us a detailed
method statement, sourced a number of assessors, arranged and
carried out two-week long analyses in 3 separate geographical
locations, delivered a detailed report to us and ultimately provided
expert witness evidence during the Trial. Throughout the course of
the instructions we were impressed by the commitment and
professionalism displayed by the Anaconn team. Anaconn quickly
understood what we required and delivered an excellent piece of work
to fully meet that requirement."
- At
the present time this case is still sub-judice. The client will be
identified once the judgement has been made public.

Review
of Existing Fee Levels for Street Works Inspections
|
|
An impartial view was required to resolve internal
conflict in a committee situation. This project required the
development of a method, including a database to record and aid in
the analysis of the results. We provided two teams working in
different locations in the field. The field work was followed by a
statistically robust analysis and presentation of the results. Read

Telco Business
Process Management Service Line Development
|
|
We determined the required component parts for the
Service Line to be a process management methodology describing the
techniques, tools and procedures to be used, a business model of a
fixed line telecoms business, including interconnect services and a
training course in the techniques and modelling tool to support the
methodology. We identified the appropriate techniques and tools for
the methodology and educated members of our client staff in the
application of the techniques in order to facilitate the development
process. We developed and delivered the training course to our
client's consultants and tailored the course for delivery to their
customers. Read

What Our Clients
Said...
"This was a pioneering
assignment for PwC Consulting since it formalised the approach,
methods and CASE tool use. The model and service line which resulted
from the work has been the basis of successful assignments around
Europe. Analysis Connections Ltd provided the expertise which became
the basis of the method. They also played a major role in the
development and test of the logical telecommunications company
model. The model is very comprehensive and complex because it covers
all aspects of a company’s activities. However, because of the way
that it was developed it has been straight forward to apply either
in whole or in part in subsequent assignments."
