AnaConn Business Activity Analysis

Benefits
The AnaConn Business Activity Analysis (ABAA)
will deliver the following benefits to your business:
- A clear picture of how your business
is performing overall in terms of the business tools you use, the
processes you run your business with and the results you are
achieving;
- Rapid identification of which business
processes are not operating as they should;
- A strong foundation for decisions and
action;
- A benchmark of how your business is
operating now and against which its future performance can be
measured; and
- A valuable insight into differing
perceptions of how your business is doing.
Who should be
involved
ABAA can be applied to any business. The
best results come when the analysis is performed at The Board level.
Typically we do one session with the CEO / MD and follow this with a
second session with members of The Board. It can, however, be used at any
level dependant on what you want to achieve.
Sequence of
Events
This may vary, but the following
describes how an engagement might progress assuming we are working at The
Board level.
- Input session with the CEO. Normally
takes between 90 and 120 minutes, depending on the degree of
explanation required during the session. This is a question and answer
session where the CEO scores their response to a number of
pre-defined, subjective questions.
- Analysis and presentation of results.
We analyse the results and review them with you at a meeting (30 to 60
minutes). This can take place as soon as two days after the input
session.
- Determine next steps. At the review
meeting we discuss with you what should happen next. Typically this
will result in a second input session involving the other members of
The Board. Alternatively it may be used directly to initiate a
programme of change.
Features
- Independent: ABAA is independent of
current or historic data - no need to gather statistics.
- Unbiased: ABAA cannot be influenced by
the facilitator, regardless of their knowledge or experience
- Of immediate value, self validating
and robust
- Repeatable, quantified results
- Easily understood, highly visual and
non-threatening
- Wide ranging application:
- performance improvement
- acquisitions and mergers
- competitive analysis
- change programme monitoring
